Poti Poti

The label potipoti itself was founded in 2005 and is a collaboration between two designers, Silvia Salvador and Nando Cornejo. Operating from Berlin and Spain, potipoti creates fashion graphics and design, drawings, visual arts and product design. Their distinctive aesthetic for graphics is reflected in their fashion designs. Their latest project has been a collection of stationers and notebooks with Labor Viva, a company devoted to hire and give work to handicapped.

There is always a bit of a fable in potipoti’s designs. In their latest collection for Autumn Winter 08, Totem, there is a pinch of folklore and a lot of imagination. The use of graphics and the shape of garments improves in each season. They bring from icy Berlin this their fifth and most grown up to date collection, a very colorful set of designs inspired in Native Americans Totems of polichromated wood as well as on vintage wooden toys. Beige, black, navy blue and colorful prints are the signature of this collection. Cotton and mohair, silk and micro-corduroy the fabrics.
